Lesara expands to Sweden

Berlin, 11.05.2017 - Lesara, the international web store for fashion and lifestyle products, continues its strong growth trajectory seen in the last few months and is now expanding into the Nordic countries, starting in Sweden. The Berlin based e-commerce enterprise offers more than 80,000 products in the fields of fashion, lifestyle, accessories and home. After launching in 24 countries in 5 different languages, Lesara has a total of approximately 8 million unique users per month. With the new website www.lesara.se, Lesara will potentially reach millions of new customers.

E-commerce in Sweden is growing in a rapid rate, according to HUI Research. Sweden has the highest percentage of online consumers in the Nordic countries with 8.5 billion euro in total spend in 2016. Clothing and footwear are the fastest growing segments in the retail industry online, making up for 28 % of all purchased items, followed by media products and home electronics*.

The approach of agile retail and serving customers with trend products from the areas of fashion and lifestyle on demand paid off for Lesara last year.
