Berlin, 14.11.2016 – Now that’s reason to celebrate: Lesara, the international online shop for affordable fashion & lifestyle continues its strong growth into the third year since inception. Compared to the last business year, the revenue increased 175% to a high double digit million and the customer base to 1.5 million active customers across Europe. The range of products has also expanded in the last few months and currently comprises over 70,000 products.
More highlights from Lesara’s third year: In January, the renowned American business magazine, Forbes, puts Roman Kirsch, the founder & CEO of Lesara on its highly acclaimed “30 under 30” list of young entrepreneurs, known for success, innovation & influence in their respective fields. In February, Lesara announces its expansion to France, the third most important economy in Europe. March witnesses the first Lesara fashion show in Milan. Just a couple of months later, in May, the jury of the Teach5 Awards names Lesara Europe’s fastest growing tech company. The Lesara app for iOS and Android is available since May. In June, Lesara is launched in the United Kingdom with great success. Between May and August, Lesara introduces its first TV spot in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The new web design goes live in September, just in time for the third birthday in November and the Lesara logo gets revamped.

Around 200 people from 27 different countries work in the meantime at the Lesara offices in Berlin, Guangzhou & Shenzhen. Most purchases on Lesara are made on mobile devices. Around 80 percent of all sales are on smartphones, tablets etc. Women are especially attracted by the offers on the online shop. Over 80% of the customers are women, with an average age of 35 years.
